As our current CEO is retiring after a well-deserved career, we are now looking for a secure, business-minded and inspiring leader who wants to take overall responsibility for Tunabyggen and further develop the company as a market-driven, professional and socially beneficial organization.

About the role

Tunabyggen is a municipal housing company with a clear social mission. As CEO, you are Tunabyggen's primary representative and a reliable communicator who builds trust through dialogue with the board, owners, the municipality, business life and other key stakeholders. You contribute your own perspectives, drive the dialogue with the board forward, and translate goals and strategies into concrete results through clear communication and present leadership. You have the ultimate responsibility for the company's operations, economy and organization. In this role, you lead the management team, act as the reporting officer to the board and report to the board. With a holistic view and a focus on results, you drive the company towards set economic, social and ecological sustainability goals.

The assignment involves leading with clarity, care and courage, and strengthening a culture characterized by collaboration, responsibility and development. You create structure, direction and pace in the operations and ensure that Tunabyggen is well prepared for future demands within housing supply, sustainability, digitalization and societal development – for the benefit of Borlänge Municipality, our tenants and other customers.

About you

We are looking for you who have a strong commitment to leadership and social issues and who are driven by developing organizations, people and businesses. You are strategic and analytical, but also action-oriented and confident in decision-making. As a leader, you are receptive and unpretentious, while also daring to set demands and take responsibility when the situation requires it.

We would appreciate if you have experience from business life and/or market-driven organizations, where the ability to create results through people, communication and relationships has been crucial.

You value utilizing and developing the competence that already exists in the organization and lead with trust, clarity and inspiration.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant academic education
• Several years of experience leading managers and operations at a strategic level
• Good experience in finance, control and follow-up
• Understanding of corporate governance
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious:

• Experience from the property, housing or urban development sector
• Experience working in or with a municipal operation
• Experience with board work or work close to the board
